TIME TRAVEL 51 is all cine film with narration starting off at Long Marston for some eighth mile action in 1978 featuring the pro comp diggers of Pat Cuss and Liz Burn along with Ollie Burn’s Komodo Dragon flopper. Also the JFP Special Mini, Super Vogue, Drag Addict, The Creeper etc..... Then on to Santa Pod for the Easter 1979 Internationals including Rough Diamond, Oxford Builder, Helzapoppin, Hang ‘em High, Al’s Gasser, Tender Trap, Panic and Rod Pallant’s LA Hooker double Kawasaki..... Next it’s Blackbushe for some action from the NDRC Season Opener for 1979 including Liquidator, Paranoia and loads of bikes..... We then go back to Santa Pod for the 1979 July Internationals and some runs by Sammy Miller in the Vanishing Point rocket funny car including the first 300m.p.h. run on British soil also Raymond Beadle and Gene Snow were over from the USA with their funny cars taking on the Vegas of Herridge and Hayward and the Monzas of Priddle and Picardo... Then the Sept 1979 Internationals and more funny car action and a look at all the funnies fuelers and pro comp cars lined up and fired up together on the strip before moving onto some night time action at the 1979 Fireworks Meet as Bootsie performs a fire burnout in Ashphalt Alleygator. Nobby Hills debuts his new Challenger Houndog funny and the Stones debut there new ex-Blue Max Stardust funny also Peter Crane has a go in the Needle and lights them up 60s style off the line.... To finish off we travel to the Sept 1980 World Series at Santa Pod and a look at all the races up to the semis in the 16 car funny car eliminator and the Sessan Torline pro comp eliminator including Tom Hoover, Leif Helander and Harlen Thompson (pics above) Hasse Fromm, Anders Hasslestromm, John Andersson, Rune Fjeld, Tony Donges, Martin Hopp, Krister Johansson, Steinar Stolen, Bjorn Ardin, Leif Daback etc etc.................
