TIME TRAVEL 50 starts off with some cine film taken at the 1983 Santa Pod Easter Drag Race including Beautiful Noise, Glacier Grenade, Brute Force, Magnum Force, Jean’s T, Mr Shifter, Boss Cat, Straight Shooter, Motor Mouse, Seconds Out II, Paranoia etc etc....Also a fire burnout by Andy Craddock in the Frontline Fueler and an interruption in the racing as the Santa Pod streaker jumps over the fence onto the strip! Then more cine film from the Street Machine Summernationals at Blackbushe August 1983 including Gearjammer, Hi-anxiety, Clockwork Orange, Nick Mann’s Minor, Tom Laffy’s Capri and the repaired Slick Willy after it’s rollover in April. Next it’s cine film from Long Marston in May 1985 including Avanti, Alchemist, Henry’s Revenge, Grounds for Divorce etc etc... and then more cine film from Santa Pod at the 1986 World Finals which saw a large Scandinavian doorslammer entry and Tom Hoover driving the ex-Priddle Fueller also Rat Fink, Five Alive, Black Mass II and the Well Mental Fuel Altered (pictured above). Then it’s time to turn up the volume as we take a look at some video footage taken at the 1987 Santa Pod Cannonball as Tom Hoover, Harlan Thompson, Rune Fjeld, Lee Anders Hasselstrom, Gary Page, Alan Bates, Geoff Bosworth, Lesley Prior and Bjorn Ardin (pictured above) battle it out for two rounds and a final in their plastic fantastics.......
