TIME TRAVEL 48 starts with a look at some cine film taken at the first round of the 1964 International Drag Festivals at Blackbushe and a look around the pits at Allan Herridge’s Buick slingshot and Jim Tiller’s J2 Allard then some action on the strip including Dave Strickler and Ronnie Sox in their Factory Experimentals, Ohio George Montgomery in his Willys Coupe,(pictured above) the Allard Dragons, Bob Keith’s Dos Palmos Gas Dragster, Tony Nancy’s Wedge and the AA/Fuelers of Garlits and Ivo which keep the slicks boiling for the full 1/4. Next a look at some photos taken at the last round of the Drag Festivals again at Blackbushe and then some more cine film this time taken at Santa Pod in 1968 and 1969 including a look at Brian Holmes Custom Mini pick-up and the Wheelie Stingray with the body off in the pits, also Good Vibrations (pictured above) Commuter, Houndog III, Stripduster, Whistler, Invader, Geronimo, The Glacier Bearing Special, Sidewinder, Imagination, Gloink etc. etc..... Next some slides taken at Santa Pod in 1973 including Travel Agent, Auto Frog, Slo-mo-shun, Trakshun Akshun, Oblivion, Vendetta, Motor Psycho, Mouse Organ, Dorset Horn, Taxi, Earsplitenloudenboomer etc. etc.... Finally another look at Jim Tiller’s J2 Allard which he’s still running at the 2005 Brighton Speed Trials.......
