TIME TRAVEL 46 starts with some slides from Santa Pod and Blackbushe in 1974,’75 and 1976 including Avanti, Panic, Stagecoach, Midus Mist, Aardvark, Stripteaser, African Raider, The Animal, Eastern Express the crashed Houndog 6 and the Triumph Karts of Ken Penfold and Brian Parkins. Then some cine film taken at Snetterton in 1976 including Liam Churchill’s Euro Sting Funny Car, the Emerson, Rowat and Smith Junior Fueler, Liquidator, Optimist, Fire In’jun, Proteus, Pubcrawler, Glen and Robin Read racing each other in their Volvo Diggers etc. etc.... Next more cine film from the 1977 Santa Pod Season Opener including a rare shot of Steve Read in the ex-Clive Skilton 2nd Revolution slingshot renamed Juara and Roz Prior debuting her Maneater Fueler (pictured above) along with the Houndog, Highway Patrol and Sundowner Fuelers. Also Barry Bowles brings out the Blonde Bombshell Rocket Dragster (pictured above) for a blast. Then it’s on to the 1977 Santa Pod Springnationals for some more cine film featuring Dennis Priddle driving Don Garlits King Rat Fueler to a new speed record of 230 m.p.h. and then the September Internationals including the Funny Cars of Dave Stone, Allan Herridge, Tony Froome, Dennis Priddle and making his first appearance at Santa Pod Raymond Beadle in the Blue Max. Finally some slides from 1978-’79 including Aggrovation, Buzby, Coyotee, Boss Cat, Pretty Thing, Hang’em high, Garbus, Antiquity, Time Lord, The Stinker, Comet, The Creeper etc. etc......
