TIME TRAVEL 34 is made up of slides and cine film taken by drag racing journalist Ron “Bleedin“ Clark starting with some slides from 1972-’74 then on to Ron’s cine film which is a bit mixed up date and location wise. The first part was taken at Blackbushe and Santa Pod in 1973 and 1974 including Satans Toy, Drag-N-Fly, Worden, Two Ton Carmen, Stripteaser, Dorset Horn, Slow-mo-shun, Tee Rat, Lizard, Hemi Hunter etc. etc... also a Funny Car matchup at Blackbushe between Dennis Priddle in the S.T.P. Avenger and Ed Shaver in the Castrol rear engined Funny Car and in Top Fuel Dennis smokes Mr Revell out the hole against Clive Skilton in Revolution 4. Then on to Snetterton 1976 as Ratcatcher takes on Alkymist and Priddle brings out the Avenger II. Next some night time action with fire burnouts and header flames at the 1974 Santa Pod Fireworks Meet, then a look at the Houndog 7 Funny Car, Firefly and a hairy moment with the Panic Topolino as it turns 180 degrees during a rolling burnout. Finally a look at the 1976 Santa Pod 10th anniversary Springnationals as Big Daddy Don Garlits brings his fueler over to take on Peter Crane in Stormbringer, Owen Hayward in Houndog 8, Tony Froome in Sundowner, Clive Skilton in Revolution 3, Allan Herridge in Asphalt Alleygator, Gerry Andrews in Hemi Hunter and finally Ronnie “The Joker” Picardo who’s seen with his legs sticking out the cockpit of Firefly during the 8 car line up on the start line.......
