Starting with a look at some photos of his ‘37 Ford Coupe and the B.H.R.A. rod and custom show in 1963 including Brian Coole’s ‘34 Sedan, Alan Doyle’s ‘32 5 window and Dave Mosses Kustom Consul. Then a look at some build-up photos of Ken’s ‘33 Cabriolet hot rod and some cine film from Blackbushe in 1964 at the International Drag Festival including a shot of Nobby Hill’s first Houndog racing Allan Herridge in the D-D Buick. Next a iook at some photos from the B.H.R.A. 2nd Big Go at Duxford in 1965 and some build-up shots of Ken’s first flathead dragster followed by some slides from Santa Pod in 1966 including the American Commandos. Then some cine film from the first practice meet at the Pod in 1967 including Clive Lingard’s Zodiac, Dave Riswick’s ‘57 Chevy, Yellow Rod, Sodbuster, Wicked Lady, Wee Green Pea, Hustler, etc. etc... and some more cine film from the First Motorcycle Drag Championships at Santa Pod including Norman Hyde, John Lloyd and Alf Hagon who runs the Pod’s first 9 second run and collects £10 from John Bennett. Next on to 1968 and more cine film including Houndog III, Jynx, Good Vibrations, Poltergeist, Invader, Slo-mo-shun, Motorvation, Geronimo etc. etc... and some smoky matchups between Tudor Rose and Commuter. Finally more cine film from 1969 at Santa Pod as Steve Perry tries to smoke his tyre E.J. Potter style on his V6 bike an Ken Cooper gets into the 10’s in his flathead slingshot, also Anomalous II, Turtle T, Whistler and Russell Ward’s Jag powered street Pop.....
