TIME TRAVEL 20 is all cine film taken during the 1980 season. Starting at the Santa Pod Easter Internationals featuring the Sessan Tor Line European Pro Comp Championship and the Hot Rod & Custom UK Pro Fuel Eliminator including Dennis Priddle in his new rear engined Fueler. Then on to Long Marston where Priddle performs a champagne burnout to mark the return to racing there, also Panic and Krypton battle it out in Pro Comp. Next back to Santa Pod for the Big Go where Sammy Miller returns with his Vanishing Point Rocket Funny Car, Alan Bates bangs the blower in the Warlock Funny Car and Allan Herridge and Ronnie Picardo do side by side fire burnouts before the final of Pro Fuel. Then on to the August Supernationals where Silvia Hauser debuts her ex Paul Rossi Dodge, also Tina Page in the rebuilt Fast Lady slingshot (pictured above) and a wheelstand by Owen Hayward in Houndog. Finally the September World Finals at Santa Pod where not only was there a 16 car field in Pro Comp but 20 fuel burning Funny Cars turned up to qualify for the 16 car Hot Rod & Custom UK Funny Car eliminator. Number 1 qualifier was Allan Herridge followed by Don Prudhomme, Gene Snow,(both pictured above) Dennis Priddle, Lee Anders Hasslestrom, John Anderson, Owen Hayward, Harlan Thompson, Rune Fjeld, Tom Hoover, Dave Stone, Stig Hansson, Hasse Fromm, Leif Daback, Ronnie Picardo, and Paul Manders.....
