TIME TRAVEL 19 is all cine film taken in 1979 starting at the July Internationals featuring from America the Blue Max and Snowman (pictured above) Funny Cars including Gene Snow blowing his Kieth Black all over the start line. Also Sammy Miller returns in his Rocket Funny Car, plus D.L.T. in the Needle, the Red Devil Chevys, Stripteaser, Helzapoppin, The Devil, Neon Star, Thunderbird, Le Patron, Hemi Hunter, etc etc.... Then on to Blackbushe for a bit of N.D.R.C. action including Malcolm Olley’s Pink Panther Jet, Gee Tee, Paranoia, The Creeper, Pubcrawler, etc. etc.... Next a look at Allan Herridge putting the Gladiator (pictured above) on it’s roof at the Supernationals, then on to the September World Series at Santa Pod featuring a 16 car Pro Comp field with cars from Sweden, Norway, Germany and the U. K. and an 8 car Funny Car field as Owen Hayward, Ronnie Picardo, Dennis Priddle (pictured above) Allan Herridge, Lee Anders Hasselstrom, Hasse Fromm, Raymond Beadle, and Gene Snow battle it out resulting in the quickest side by side race in the world at the time as Snow and Beadle meet in the final. Things quieten down a bit as we move on to the October Winternationals featuring Axle Tramp, Spirit of ‘55, Hang ‘Em High, Super Vogue, Frantic, Muscle Sprout, Pumpin Iron, Dave Mingay’s Goat and John Spuffard’s Midnight Warrior, etc. etc... Finally a visit to New York Raceway including Black Magic, Dave Grady’s High Spirits, and the Wheelie Vauxhall....
